Publications. The ISHBH publishes the Bibliotheca Herpetologica. It contains articles, essays, bibliographies and news of people and events in our field and is a peer-reviewed journal published with two issues per year. The many important contributions make the publication a vital source for bibliographers, historians and taxonomists alike but at the same time the papers are by and large appealing to the layperson in the field.
Citations. The recommended format for citations.

Citations. When the first issue was published in May 1999 the journal was titled International Society for the History and Bibliography of Herpetology Newsletter and Bulletin. The new name Bibliotheca Herpetologica was applied from vol. 5(2) published in April 2005. We regard therefore Bibliotheca Herpetologica as a continuation of the ISHBH Newsletter and Bulletin, with sequential numbering. Thus we suggest the following formats for citations:
Korsós, Z. 2005. In memoriam Dr. Olivér György Dely (1927-2003). Bibliotheca Herpetologica 5(2):7-9.
Bauer, A.M. & R.E. Petit 2004. On the Herpetology of Perry's Arcana and Two Forgotten Reptile Names. International Society for the History and Bibliography of Herpetology Newsletter and Bulletin 5(1):9-17.
